Aura Sports Group ("Aura," "the Company," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who visit or otherwise interact with this website. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes the categories of information Aura collects through aurasportsgroup.com and its associated pages (the "Site"), the purposes for which such information is used and disclosed, and the choices available to you. This Policy applies to visitors, prospective clients, athletes, recruits, coaches, and parents or guardians who access the Site or communicate with Aura through it. This Policy does not extend to the separate, executed representation, marketing, or advisory agreements entered into between Aura and its clients; the terms of those agreements, including any confidentiality provisions contained therein, govern the handling of information exchanged within that relationship.
Aura collects information about you in the following ways:
When you submit an inquiry through the Contact page or a comparable form, Aura collects the information you enter, which may include your name, email address, telephone number, the category that best describes you (for example, NFL player, college player, recruit, parent or family member, or coach), your school or team, your position, and any additional information you elect to provide. If you contact Aura by email, telephone, or in person, Aura collects the information you share in the course of that communication.
As is standard practice for most websites, Aura's hosting and analytics providers may automatically record certain technical information when you access the Site, including your IP address, browser and device type, the pages viewed, and referring pages, for purposes of security, performance monitoring, and analytics. Section 5 below describes Aura's use of cookies and similar technologies in greater detail.
In the event you become a client of Aura, Aura may separately obtain additional information concerning you from coaches, teams, schools, scouting and personnel departments, leagues, and other contacts within the football industry in connection with its representation of you. Such information is governed by the terms of the applicable representation agreement and not by this Policy.
Aura's Recruits program is directed toward high school student-athletes, a number of whom are minors. If you are under the age of eighteen (18), Aura requests that a parent or legal guardian review this Policy and submit any inquiry on your behalf, or jointly with you. By designating "Recruit" or otherwise identifying a minor in connection with an inquiry, the submitting adult represents and warrants that they possess the authority to disclose that minor's information to Aura for the purpose of discussing representation and related services.
Aura uses information concerning recruits solely to respond to the applicable inquiry and, where a family elects to proceed, to discuss and formalize representation. Aura does not use such information for unrelated marketing directed toward minors.
Aura uses the information it collects for the following purposes:
The Site currently loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may involve a connection to Google's servers upon loading. Aura does not currently employ advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers on the Site. Should Aura implement analytics, advertising, or other tracking technologies in the future, this Policy will be updated accordingly and, where required by applicable law, a cookie notice or consent mechanism will be provided. Most browsers permit users to block or delete cookies through their settings; doing so may affect the functionality of portions of the Site.
Aura retains information obtained through website inquiries for so long as is necessary to respond to you, evaluate a potential relationship, and comply with its legal, accounting, and record-keeping obligations, following which such information is deleted or anonymized. Information collected in connection with a client representation relationship is retained in accordance with the terms of the applicable agreement and applicable professional and regulatory requirements.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information Aura holds about you by contacting Aura using the details set forth in Section 13. You may also opt out of marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions contained in an email or by contacting Aura directly.
Depending on your jurisdiction of residence, you may have additional rights under applicable law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended), other U.S. state privacy statutes, or the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation, including the right to know what information Aura holds, to request deletion, to correct inaccuracies, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. Aura does not sell or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under applicable law, and will respond to verifiable requests in accordance with applicable law.
Aura employs reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information submitted through the Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and Aura cannot guarantee absolute security. You should refrain from submitting highly sensitive information, such as government identification numbers or financial account details, through the contact form.
The Site contains links to third-party websites, including news coverage and social media platforms. Such sites maintain their own privacy practices, and this Policy does not apply to them. Aura encourages you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.
The Site is not directed to children under the age of thirteen (13), and Aura does not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen (13) absent parental involvement. Section 2 above describes Aura's handling of inquiries involving minors between the ages of thirteen (13) and seventeen (17). If Aura learns that it has collected personal information directly from a child under thirteen (13) without appropriate parental consent, it will take steps to delete such information.
The Site is operated within the United States and is intended for visitors located in the United States.
